Andrew Hairston
Andrew grew up on St Thomas, going to Charlotte Amalie High School where he played football. He later studied Criminal Justice at college where he then competed in sprint events in track & field and later joined the Marine Corps. Following a car accident which resulted in the loss of his left leg, he learned to walk again and began his adaptive sports journey towards competing in para cycling road events. Andrew now runs the nonprofit, Salvage Life, providing adaptive sports and recreation resources to those in need with a focus on the Virgin Islands and Wounded Warriors.

Andrew Hairston competed at three rounds of the World Cup in 2024, and at the end of 2024 was 26 in the MH4 world ranking
